We actually tested it side by side.

We ran washes using both single-direction and bi-directional agitation to see if reversing direction would improve yield or overall quality. The result was clear. There was no meaningful difference in what we pulled.

What did change was the stress on the system. Reversing direction adds extra load to the motor and drive components, which increases wear over time.

By keeping the Mini Osprey 2.0 running in a single direction, we’re prioritizing reliability, lower maintenance, and longer motor life without sacrificing performance.

If it doesn’t make better hash, we’re not going to complicate the system.

You can load up to up to 9,000 grams of fresh frozen or 2,000 grams of dry material per wash. We estimate that all in, it takes about 2 hours per full batch… That means if you're going for maximum throughput, you can do upwards of 36kg of fresh frozen every 8 hours.

Yes, the Mini Osprey 2.0 utilizes our all new purpose built Mini Osprey Wash Controller so you can set up your wash recipes to your exact specifications. That means you can change all of the most important variables depending on what you want to achieve for each strain and desired output.

Yes, due to restrictions on ground shipping and damaged units when we experimented with ground shipping options, all Mini Osprey machines ship freight for convenience.
