The V4 Rosin Press is our answer to bringing the Lowtemp Rosin press into modern day rosin pressing. Freshly designed, while keeping the familiar qualities our community has built with the V2 for nearly a decade: Bulletproof, Modularity, Precision, Production.

A more efficient 10 ton cylinder cuts pumping effort in half compared to the V2, so you spend less time pumping and more time pressing. The updated Free-Flow, four sided open plate design pulls rosin off the heat faster, delivering up to 20°F cooler off-plate temperatures that protect terpenes and volatile compounds from heat degradation, giving you better flavor, aroma, and overall quality in every press.

The frame is solid Duplex 2205 stainless steel, one of the most corrosion-resistant materials available and more durable than any other rosin press on the market. This is a family heirloom disguised as a rosin press.

Powered by our latest LT4 controller and designed to grow with you, the V4 supports a full Medusa multi-press system right out of the box. 2-4x your production with a single operator/pump by adding onto your system.

Both pumps work with every bundle configuration up to 4 presses. The difference is feel. The hand pump gives you direct tactile feedback as pressure builds, like driving a manual transmission. The electric pump handles it at the push of a button. It comes down to how hands-on you want to be.

Yes, absolutely. We purposefully ensured that no existing Lowtemp customer would get left behind with this new design. Upgrade HERE

It does. The updated four sided open plate design gets rosin off the heat faster. Cooler rosin off the plate means less terpene degradation and better volatile compound preservation. We have also seen slightly better yields by a few percentage points due to less rosin getting stuck to the bag from restrictive parchment folds.

When you factor everything in, less parchment folding, half the cylinder pumps, and four sided rosin evacuation, the V4 makes the entire pressing process about 30-50% faster than the V2.

Yes. The V4 is built to grow with your operation. If you start with a single press and want to expand into a Medusa system down the road, additional presses can be added without replacing your existing setup.

Unlike every other rosin press on the market, the V4 is constructed out of Duplex 2205 Stainless Steel, which is a unique, ultra durable, ultra hard, and very expensive alloy of stainless. It's over 8 times more expensive per pound than normal rosin press steel.

We made this material selection for a variety of reasons:

It does not require any paints or coatings that can wear out or flake off over time.
How it looks today is exactly how it will look in a hundred years.
It's the industry standard of sanitary materials, from food to pharma, stainless is king.
Selecting stainless allowed us to keep our welding process in house. We weld all of our own stainless at our weld shop, and part of our quality controls is that we do not allow ANY carbon steel in our facility. Ever. This prevents iron impregnation into our equipment.
Stainless kicks ass!

The only trade off of this is that every piece of stainless steel has a unique character. Since there is no paint or coatings to cover the raw metal, small visual imperfections of the finish are to be expected. Things that would normally be covered very easily by paint are easily seen in the right lighting.
