The difference is plate size and output per cycle. The 3x5 is ideal for home pressers and small batch production, pressing up to 30g of bubble hash per cycle. The 4x7 is our larger configuration, pressing up to 60g per cycle, and is the foundation of our 2-Press Medusa system. If you are running a lab or pressing regularly for volume, the 4x7 is where you want to start.

Both pumps work with every bundle configuration up to 4 presses. The difference is feel. The hand pump gives you direct tactile feedback as pressure builds, like driving a manual transmission. The electric pump handles it at the push of a button. It comes down to how hands-on you want to be.

On the 4x7, up to 60g of bubble hash or sift per cycle, and 15-25g of flower without a pre-press or 25-40g with one. On the 3x5, up to 30g of bubble hash per cycle and 5-10g of flower. With a 2-Press Medusa configuration, those numbers double with one operator running both presses simultaneously.
